Church reopening update: With safety and health as our high priority, we have decided to delay our church service reopening date. We will closely monitor the development of COVID-19 levels in our state and will proceed with wisdom and caution. We encourage everyone to be vigilant to protect themselves and those around them and to be prayerful during this time.

Special Mandarin Joint Meeting: ⾝⼼鍛煉的最佳⽅法

We will have a special virtual zoom meeting on Friday, 6/26. 范學德 Fan Xue De will be the speaker. His topic will be “身心鍛鍊的最佳方法”. We welcome all believers and gospel friends. We also invite Chinese Churches in Sacramento to join this outreach meeting. Additionally, we will have a Q&A session at the end of the meeting.

COVID-19 Update 2020.06.07

DCCC is actively and carefully preparing to reopen in-person Sunday worship in phases. The Task Force team members will meet with fellowship groups in the next few weeks to go over the details. There are immense needs for help from volunteer brothers and sisters to assist with ushering, live-streaming operation, cleaning, and non-contact body temperature screening. VBS 2020 Cancellation

Due to the uncertainty that faces our nation, our community and our church, planning for future events is virtually impossible.  It is with regret that Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be cancelled for 2020. This was not an easy decision because we know how much the church and community look forward to this special time, but we are confident this is the best decision for our teachers, helpers and children.  Next year we’ll be back for another fabulous year and look forward to everyone’s involvement with VBS 2021. These are uncertain times. The daily news related to the coronavirus comes at a breakneck pace. Tonight, President Trump has suspended travel to Europe and the NBA their season after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Our family is figuring out what in person class cancellations and finals mean for our two University of California students. The recommendations to stay home and socially distance make more sense as the situation seems to worsen.
