Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Because of the Coronavirus, we are asking anyone who has traveled to an impacted area to not attend church functions for 3 weeks after their return. To prevent the spread of Coronavirus, flu, and colds please wash your hands with soap frequently. If you have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please consult a doctor and stay home until you recover. While you are at home, access our church website at for sermons.

Pruning and Fruitfulness

What is your favorite chore? You might not have one since a chore typically is a task you need to do, but probably don’t necessarily enjoy. If I do need to pick one mine is vacuuming. I find a satisfaction in seeing the floor clean of dust and debris after running the machine over the carpets or tile. My least favorite? Yard work. Growing up my dad made me work on his yard. Starting My Personal Leave

I started my four-month personal leave on February 1st. I’ve shared before how I am truly grateful to God and the church for allowing me to take a sabbatical-like break from my regular responsibilities at church. I’d like to utilize the Pastor’s Corner on our church website to share updates and thoughts from my time on leave. The leave started in a fitting way at Redwood Christian Park in the Santa Cruz mountains. Coronavirus Alert

Please park at the Davis Medical Center parking lot (635 Anderson Rd) or at the UCD visitor parking lots (permit not required on weekends unless there is a special event). There is a detailed map in the vestibule. Do not park on Anderson Rd, Oeste Dr, Sunset Court, University Mall, Rite Aid or the four spaces closest to the Medical Vision Technology in the Medical Center, which are reserved for the handicapped and patients.

Children’s Safety Training

DCCC’s Annual Sock Drive

Cold weather is approaching, and that means it is time for our annual Sock Drive for the homeless.  On Sunday, 12/8/2019 or 12/15/2019, bring a package of new, warm crew socks.  Men’s socks are needed the most, but a few ladies’ socks are welcomed.  A large collection box will be put in the foyer.
